2019 DEF CON Car Hacking Village badge

A wearable, working electronic badge shaped like a clear acrylic SUV. I designed the board, the circuit board doubles as the car’s chassis, and the acrylic body is laser-cut. I did much of the design of the acrylic body, and the owner of Specialized Solutions finished the internal structure. About 350 units were built; I designed the board and assembled them.

  • PCB as chassis
  • OLED display
  • Addressable LEDs
  • LiPo battery
  • Laser-cut acrylic body
  • ~350 units
  • Pick-and-place assembly
  • Designed + assembled by me
