2018 DEF CON Car Hacking Village badge: “the wrench”

A wrench-shaped electronic badge for the 2018 DEF CON Car Hacking Village. The circuit board is the wrench: a matrix of 320 RGB LEDs in 0404 packages (1.0 × 1.0 mm) fills the handle, with 160 more 0603 LEDs for 480 in all, routed on a 4-layer board in a narrow wrench outline. A microSD slot, micro-USB, two buttons and several microcontroller-class ICs run along the shaft. About 900 were made; I designed the board and assembled them.
